3-Day Wedding Corset & Skirt Drafting Intensive

Step into the world of couture bridal construction and learn how to create the foundation of a luxury wedding gown.

 

This 3-day in-person intensive is designed for designers and serious sewists who want to master the techniques behind a perfectly fitted corset gown. You’ll learn the exact methods used in my studio to draft custom corsets, shape the body, and construct structured bridal pieces that fit beautifully on the body.

 

Throughout the training, I’ll walk you step-by-step through drafting and sewing the signature Quintin Michael corset, including both cupped and Victorian styles, along with bust caging techniques used to support and shape the bust in structured gowns. We’ll also cover custom skirt drafting techniques used for wedding gowns and couture formalwear.

 

By the end of the workshop, you’ll understand how to take professional measurements, draft custom patterns, build internal structure, and construct a corset with a clean couture finish.
